What’s the difference between Aluminum and Fiberglass poles?
We offer:
- Aluminum poles in 12’ and 16’
- Fiberglass poles in 16’ and 22’
- Aluminum pole is Stiffer in the wind vs Fiberglass tends to bend more.
- Fiberglass pole Collapses to 4 ft vs Aluminum collapses above 5 ft.

12’ aluminum collapses to 6’
16’ aluminum collapses to 5’
16’ fiberglass collapses to 4’
22’ fiberglass collapses to 4’

- Fiberglass pole Weights less vs Aluminum

16’ aluminum is about 5 lbs
16’ fiberglass is about 3.5 lbs

Note: We don't have a 22 ft Aluminum pole, I couldn't find one that fits our mounts.

Poles

Alumimun:

- 16 ft Fiberglass Pole, Colapses to 4.5 ft.   1.5" diameter at bottom ¾" at top.  Fits our 1.5 Mounts (see Pole & Mount Kits).  Great for two Flag .

- 22 ft Fiberglass Pole, Colapses to 4.5 ft.   2.0" diameter at bottom ¾" at top.  Fits our 2.0 Mounts (see Pole & Mount Kits).  Great for two Flag or three with some creativity.

Fiberglass:

The 12 ft Aluminum pole is made in USA, other poles made in China

Many Aluminum Poles may look the same on the outside but our 16 ft Aluminum FlagPole has the largest Cam on the market.  The larger Cam creates more holding surface area to reduce "inintended" pole collapsing.  Also there is more Cam Cravel to reduce jamming when retracting pole for storage.

- 12 ft Aluminum Pole, Colapses to 6 ft.   1.0" diameter at bottom ¾" at top.  Fits our 1.0 Mounts (see Pole & Mount Kits).  Great for one Flag or Wi-Fi antenna.

- 16 ft Aluminum Pole, Colapses to 4.5 ft.   2.0" diameter at bottom 1.5" at top.  Fits our 2.0 Mounts (see Pole & Mount Kits).  Great for two Flag or Ham Radio antenna.
